required the design of offices that were not only representative and functional but also capable of reflecting the pioneering spirit of a young, cutting-edge company in the renewable energy sector.

The need for immediate occupancy added another layer of complexity: the project was designed and executed within an extremely tight timeframe, without compromising the high-quality standards required.

A BOLD SPACE FOR A YOUNG COMPANY

Solarig envisioned its offices as a bold workspace, perfectly aligned with its mission in the renewable energy sector. The timeless charm of Palazzo Italia provided the ideal setting. The design stands out for its vibrant colours, reflecting the look and feel of the company’s Madrid headquarters. The spacious open-plan layout creates a bright and comfortable work environment, enriched with plenty of greenery. Workstations, separated by acoustic panels, ensure privacy, while dedicated collaboration tables foster teamwork. A refined yet functional architectural solution features a large storage unit that not only serves as a practical storage area but also discreetly separates the open space from the restrooms, maintaining an organised and fluid environment.

A DESIGN THAT ENHANCES THE EXPERIENCE

Solarig’s headquarters was designed to accommodate a high number of external visitors. For this reason, the reception area was conceived as a striking focal point, featuring natural finishes that align with the company’s philosophy. To ensure efficient space utilisation, separate pathways were created for visitors and employees, preventing guests from passing through the open space to access the meeting rooms. The corridor leading to the meeting rooms is brought to life by a dynamic arrangement of glass walls, positioned in a non-linear pattern to create a sense of movement, transparency, and energy. The break area includes a social stair for informal work, a fully equipped kitchen, and small tables designed for moments of interaction and relaxation.
