Operating internationally in the distribution of chemical products and ingredients, the group serves industries ranging from food and pharmaceuticals to energy and personal care. The workplace transformation was designed to reflect an organisational evolution already underway, supporting new ways of working and greater operational flexibility.

A Layout That Connects

The project is organised around a central corridor that becomes the workplace's primary element of orientation and circulation. More than a simple passageway, this spine structures movement throughout the office and connects the different functional areas, creating a clear and intuitive reading of the space. The carpet pattern, inspired by chemical diffusion processes, reinforces the project's identity while providing a subtle reference to the company's field of activity.

Collaboration and Focus

The spatial organisation balances social interaction with individual work. The breakout area occupies a central and easily accessible position, while touchdown areas, meeting rooms and collaborative settings are distributed along the main circulation route, creating opportunities for informal interaction without disrupting operational activities. The workplace gradually transitions from open, shared environments to spaces dedicated to concentration and focused work.

A New Workplace Grammar

The project moves beyond the traditional open-plan model through a carefully balanced mix of enclosed offices, bookable bench workstations, focus rooms, phone booths and personal lockers. Meeting spaces follow the same principle, ranging from smaller rooms for agile discussions to a large divisible room capable of adapting to different requirements. The result is a more flexible workplace, designed to support the organisation's evolution while offering employees greater freedom in how and where they work.
